Tampa Liposuction Surgeon, Dr. L. William Luria

Dr. Luria is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, licensed risk manager, and chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa Bay, with affiliations at several other major hospitals in the Tampa Bay area.

Dr. Luria trained at Buffalo General Hospital and was a clinical assistant in surgery while there. In the 1960s and the 1970s he was involved in cancer research at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City, and at Roswell Park in Buffalo, NY.

He relocated to Tampa, Florida after accepting a job as an assistant professor at the USF medical school. He has maintained his Tampa practice for over 15 years.

Dr. Luria's areas of interest, expertise, training, and research include skin care, cosmetic surgery, wound care, burn care, cancer and aging, and he has recently accepted a position as Medical Director for a new skin care company, One Unlimited, Inc.
